I use the the sausage in a soup. I use one package of sausage by cutting into slices, chop a small onion then sauté both in a pan with olive oil & garlic. Then add a container of chicken broth. Add chopped cabbage, summer squash & zucchini with some salt, pepper & parsley flakes for taste. May need to add more water. Cook until tender then add a package of cheese tortellini noodles. Cook until noodles are cooked. Let cool and enjoy. All items I’ve purchased at ALDIs. I don’t measure veggies but add what I feel would be a good amount. I’ve also like to add fresh spinach. Sometimes I don’t have the cabbage and use the squash or vice-versus.
