Top ALDI Finds of the week

ranch seasoning container

Look at this handy jar of ranch seasoning mix, which is a bit more economical and easier to have on hand than the little one ounce packets. Pick up a 5 oz jar for $2.99 this week, then use some of yours to make this most awesome jalapeño popper chicken chili.

Here are fifteen more top food Finds (plus chips), as well as twenty more non-Food Finds, all for the week of 5/25/22.

apple cider vinegar soda

And as for this new apple cider vinegar soda: Yay, or nay? I didn’t buy any — a buck a can is outside of my price range, and I was concerned it would be like kombucha (which is not a favorite over here). Anyone else?

everything brioche buns

These everything bagel brioche buns, on the other hand, seemed pretty tempting. Although I went with the pretzel buns from last week instead, because… they were on clearance. 🙂

poppyseed dressing at aldi

Then, the poppyseed salad dressings are back! Try using yours on this strawberry spinach dinner salad with chicken & chickpeas; it’s the perfect contrast.

chicken cordon bleu at aldi

Need an easy dinner or lunch option? Fans of ALDI’s frozen chicken entrees can choose between Cordon Bleu and pepper jack & bacon this week. These come in two-pack boxes.

mini wontons

The mini wontons are great — getting more expensive, but isn’t everything. Enjoy them on their own, or use some in this shortcut wonton soup with spinach, which is delicious with either frozen pot stickers or frozen wontons.

Chips, chips, and more chips

on the border chips

If it’s Memorial Day weekend, we must have chips, right? 12 oz bags of On the Border cafe style tortilla chips are out in stores this week, at $2.49 each.

tandoori bbq potato chips

grapefruit and sea salt candle

You have to wonder about some of these candle scents. Like: Can you specifically tell that this is sea salt?

recycled flats at aldi

The recycled flats are super cute and sooo comfortable — they seem like a steal for just $9.99! I will say, though, that they run a little large and you may wish to size down if you are between sizes. I usually wear size 7.5-8, so picked up size 8 and they’re a bit loose on me.

A note on shelf tags

new aldi finds shelf tag, red on white

Both of my local ALDI stores yesterday were in the process of changing over all of their shelf tags to a new format. When yours changes: Note that ALDI Finds tags now have the date in the upper right-hand corner, in European format (DD/MM/YYYY). So this milk bear, for instance, was from the 5/18/22 ad.

new format for everyday shelf tags at aldi, black on white

Regular shelf tags are now white instead of yellow, in this generic looking style.

And, weirdly, seasonal items now seem to sport the very same everyday tags. This is unfortunate, because it makes it harder to tell what is a limited time buy.

What’s Up with ALDI Finds

shipping delays at aldi

What’s up with ALDI Finds? Well, these are limited time special buy items that are available in stores only while supplies last. So if you spot something you like, be sure to pick it up while you can. See also: What is the ALDI Aisle of Shame?

Before shopping for new Finds this week, you might also wish to visit the ALDI Finds product delays page. Because of ongoing shipping delays and materials shortages affecting ALDI and many other retailers, certain advertised products may not be available in all locations.
