Six easy dinners from ALDI for $65
ALDI Meal Plan — start cooking 9/19/21
Sunday
- Slow cooker honey chipotle BBQ chicken sandwiches (use 2 lbs chicken to stay in budget this week; reduce chipotle and garlic a bit if desired), served on buns and topped with sliced mozzarella
- Simple sauteed spinach (use a little splash of lime juice instead of lemon)
Monday
- Easy vegetarian black bean chili, topped with shredded cheddar & chopped green onion
- Scoop yours with the blue corn tortilla chips
Tuesday
- Shrimp taco salad with homemade dressing
- Slice up half of the apples
Wednesday
- Broiled Parmesan pork chops & broccoli
- Simple sheet pan green beans (cook these up while prepping the pork chops and broccoli, then you can skip preheating the broiler and just throw in the chops when the green beans are done)
Thursday
- Pork & pepper fajitas (save the red bell pepper for tomorrow), served on tortillas with shredded cheddar
- Simple tomato cucumber salad (substitute yellow onion to taste for the red)
Friday
- Chipotle taco soup with ground beef, topped with shredded cheddar, chopped green onion, and tortilla strips
- Slice up the other half of the apples
Saturday
- Leftovers, family pizza night (ALDI sells nice big take-and-bake deli pizzas), or order in.

A couple of notes
- I try not to repeat main dish recipes more often than once a month, but you will see favorite easy recipes again in these weekly ALDI meal plans as the same meats and produce items come up again on sale. Part of the fun of meal planning lies in mixing old stand-bys with something new each week.
- If one or more of these recipes isn’t to your taste, or if you have other ingredients to use, adapt the recipes in this ALDI meal plan to your family’s preferences. Or, just use the ideas here to supplement your own meal planning! See: Pantry staples to stock up on and how to modify a meal plan for your family.
** ad markets & dates
This week’s ALDI meal plan reflects prices from the current week’s ad (running 9/12-9/18 in Sunday ad markets, and 9/15-9/21 in Wednesday ad markets). Non-advertised prices are from my local store in the Chicago suburbs, but non-advertised prices and produce deals *may vary* by location & region. In either ad market, shop any time through Saturday and start cooking on Sunday 9/19/21.

So glad that it's useful! Sometimes you can of course substitute, but I figure it's important to know before you go to the store. :)
