- Wednesday: Sheet pan chicken drumsticks with broccoli & potatoes. Serve with sliced cantaloupe.
- Thursday: Slow cooker garlic chicken drumsticks. Side: Parmesan roasted green beans (use shredded Parmesan).

Let me know if you give it a try!
*** Download this week’s shopping list in Word format so that you can edit and add in your own meal ideas, remove items you already have on hand, change regional pricing to match your own store, etc. *** New: This week I’ve added day(s) next to each item so that you can easily see what to delete from the shopping list if you’re skipping a night.
Things to know about the ALDI meal plans
A couple of notes
- I try not to repeat main dish recipes more often than once a month, but you will see favorite easy recipes come up again in these weekly ALDI meal plans as the same meats and produce items come up again on sale. Part of the fun of meal planning lies in mixing old stand-bys with something new each week.
- If one or more of these recipes isn’t to your taste, or if you have other ingredients to use, adapt the recipes in this ALDI meal plan to your family’s preferences — or just use the ideas here to supplement your own meal planning.
Ad markets and dates
This week’s ALDI meal plan reflects prices from the current week’s ad (running 7/23-7/29 in Sunday ad markets and 7/26-8/1 in Wednesday ad markets). Non-advertised prices were collected on 7/26/17 at my local store in the Chicago suburbs, but non-advertised prices and produce deals *may vary* by location & region. In either ad market, shop any time through Saturday and start cooking on Sunday 7/30/17.

Found your website from comments on amazon about your ebook. I am loving your site already! Doing the August Pantry challenge through Dave Ramsey-Budget Meal Ideas page. Helpful site. Our new Aldi's opened last Thursday so I am on board! Thanks for your posts. I am back reading and really enjoying.

I'm so glad to see you are getting new followers from all over. I'm loving these new meal planners. I meal plan from what's in my stockpile and freezer, but as I've been couponing less and less (due to the less favorable couponing landscape) my stockpile of easy sauces and whatnot has been dwindling and I've gone back to my old recipes. Your meal plan recipes are a nice change from or twist on the recipes I've been cooking since I was 12. They're also a nice reminder that, oh right, watermelon and peaches are in season.

I cannot say how excited I am to have found your website! Someone shared it in a budget meals group I am in on Facebook & I nearly screamed aloud with joy. I've been meal planning from scratch for over a year--spending at least two hours a week on it. I've looked at other meal plans online but have never found one my family would eat more than one meal off of, making them pretty useless. I showed this to my husband & we will eat every single meal! And the grocery list download! You are magical!

I found your website yesterday thanks to Pinterest. As we needed to do our grocery shopping today, my daughter and I headed to Aldi's in Hurst, TX this morning. We noticed some prices were slightly higher than yours and some slightly lower, but they balanced out in the end. We can't wait to try the recipes and it's so nice knowing dinner is already planned and the shopping trip went very quickly. Thank you!
