IMPORTANT! READ BEFORE CHECKING OUT:

  1. You’ll need to check your pantry for staples not included in this Instacart list. *** See needed pantry staples, below.
  2. The list feature doesn’t allow me to add multiples of a single item or to change the weight of items, and the meat special buys don’t usually show up. So: Before adding the list to your cart, change these quantities and make the following notes.
    1. Quantities:

      • Change the quantity of great northern beans to two.
      • Change the quantity of spinach to two.
      • Change the quantity of mushrooms to two.
      • Change the quantity of avocados to two.
      • Change the quantity of Roma tomatoes to two.
    1. Notes for your shopper:

Things to know about these meal plans

A couple of notes

  1. I try not to repeat main dish recipes more often than once a month, but you will see favorite easy recipes again in these weekly ALDI meal plans as the same meats and produce items come up again on sale. Part of the fun of meal planning lies in mixing old stand-bys with something new each week.
  2. If one or more of these recipes isn’t to your taste, or if you have other ingredients to use up, adapt the recipes in this ALDI meal plan to your family’s preferences. Or, just use the ideas here to supplement your own meal planning! See: Pantry staples to stock up on and how to modify a meal plan for your family.

** ad markets & dates

This week’s ALDI meal plan reflects prices from the current week’s ad (running 4/16-4/22 in Sunday ad markets, and 4/19-4/25 in Wednesday ad markets). Non-advertised prices are from my local store in the Chicago suburbs. Prices and produce deals *can vary* by location & region. In either ad market, shop any time through Saturday and start cooking on Sunday 4/23/23.

Rachel, we have been using your meal plans almost weekly for over a year now. I seldom screen the recipes anymore, instead I just print and go get the stuff, and that is what we eat for the week. We are enjoying the variety of your recipes, the good use you make of the ingredients so that there are seldom left over ingredients, and most of all the CONVENIENCE of a weeks worth of meals in our house - ready to quickly prepare. We now only eat at restaurants when we want a special night out. Use to be we were tired and didn't feel like cooking, so we would give way to the temptation to go to a restaurant. It has almost been like a game to see if we can go the whole week with not eating out at a restaurant. Oh the time and MONEY we save following your plan!!!! Thank you Rachel! Keep up the great meal plans. We depend on YOU.
