Things to know about these meal plans
A couple of notes
- I try not to repeat main dish recipes more often than once a month, but you will see favorite easy recipes again in these weekly ALDI meal plans as the same meats and produce items come up again on sale. Part of the fun of meal planning lies in mixing old stand-bys with something new each week.
- If one or more of these recipes isn’t to your taste, or if you have other ingredients to use, adapt the recipes in this ALDI meal plan to your family’s preferences. Or, just use the ideas here to supplement your own meal planning! See: Pantry staples to stock up on and how to modify a meal plan for your family.
** ad markets & dates
This week’s ALDI meal plan reflects prices from the current week’s ad (running 12/5-12/11 in Sunday ad markets, and 12/8-12/14 in Wednesday ad markets). Non-advertised prices are from my local store in the Chicago suburbs, but non-advertised prices and produce deals *may vary* by location & region. In either ad market, shop any time through Saturday and start cooking on Sunday 12/12/21.

Thank you for creating these meal plans! I love Aldi and use your meal plans at least twice a month. I love how well thought out your ingredient use is (no left overs going bad in the fridge) and how achievable the recipes are. I love adding extra items from the fridge that need to be used up and the ham this week was such a great buy and use. Just wanted to reach out and say thanks for making my life easier with you awesome and thoughtful Aldi meal plans!

I saw the email for this right before heading to the grocery store and decided to try it out this week. I haven't before because you use a lot of eggs, and my kid is allergic to them, but this one seemed easy to fix. Since I haven't done this before I didn't realize there's pantry ingredients I don't have on hand that were also needed but not on the shopping list. So now I need ginger, Sriracha and balsamic vinegar I think. Also my store was out of pie crust and I don't think they carry green chilies, but I have some peppers on hand I can substitute. I really hope this turns out well for my family, because it is very convenient and helps keep our grocery trip cost down.
