Caturday with the Notorious BKL and Friends: Sleep Anywhere Edition

Welcome back to Caturday with the Notorious BKL and Friends, Sleep Anywhere Edition! Bad Kitty Lucy is not actually allowed to go to the store with me, because no one needs an entire cart full of tuna, sardines, and cat treats. (It’s worse than shopping with the kids, I tell you…) So since the cats don’t get the entertainment of ALDI shopping, they need to make their own amusement somehow… and in the process? They thoroughly manage to amuse us.

Cats can sleep in all the places

Let’s just watch the three bad kitties demonstrate some of the ways cats find a comfortable sleeping place… For instance, I keep finding Bad Kitten Gnocchi sprawled out on the heater vent. She’s no fool, right?!

Then again, I’m not sure I can say the same for BKL, who likes nothing better than curling up in the tub right after anyone finishes showering or taking a bath. This is presumably in search of the same sort of warmth, but then she keeps standing up, getting annoyed and confused that somehow she has gotten water on herself, and going off to take a cat bath of her own.

And then, no matter how many times I pull them down off the table, I continually find cats: Sprawled out across the table (as Jeremy is demonstrating for you here), fighting on the table, deliberately pulling the tablecloth off the table… Cats are kind of jerks, you know?

Cats are also royalty

Cats are also royalty, as Mr. 11’s fan art clearly demonstrates. (He often calls BKL “Bebe-cat” — I’m not sure why or how that started, but there you go: Princess BeBe-a!)
