Caturday with the Notorious BKL and Friends: Catfight! Edition

Welcome to the first Caturday of 2018 with the Notorious BKL and Friends! I finally upgraded my phone a couple of weeks ago, so have been testing its better camera out by trying to capture the distinct personalities of our various furry feline friends around here. I think that the above Bad Kitty Lucy + Bad Kitten Gnocchi vignette pretty much captures their ongoing love/hate dynamic, don’t you?

I’m not the best photographer in the world, so have taken many (many, many!) photos to get these few gems. And, of course: Jeremy does tend to lurk in corners, but he is not actually this fierce — he’s really just yawning. 😉

As for BKG, she shows no sign of growing out of her bad kitten ways yet. This is not a great photo (poor lighting + fast-moving kittens), but it really captures the moment when BKL and Jeremy formed a sleepy alliance… which BKG felt compelled to destroy, the instant she noticed the temporary truce.

As always: She’s lucky she’s cute! She’s actually growing up really pretty, but don’t tell her I said so, because it will go straight to her head…

Yes, BKL: You’re beautiful too!

So, what does it take to unite these three? Well, any common enemy will do! Here, they’re being taunted by a particularly bold squirrel running back and forth along the patio. At one point BKG almost went through the window after him, but she settled down a bit after a while and began enjoying the show with the others.

How’s your own Caturweek (or Cat-Free week) going?

That’s about it for this week’s Caturday, so I’ll leave you with this one last image of handsome Jeremy, lest he feel left out. Doesn’t he always look just a bit nervous to you? I can’t imagine why… 😉 How’s your own Caturweek (or cat-free week) going?

So glad to see Caturday back again. I guess there's nothing quite like having a toddler cat around. I think they are all beautiful.

:) I do too, but then I'm biased. Caturday was only gone for one week, I promise -- sometimes Saturdays just get away from me, and then it doesn't have quite the same ring on Sunday.
