ALDI Finds for the week of 8/10/22 include various Asian foods, an air fryer/pressure cooker combo, a couple of indulgent Greek yogurt flavors, assorted fridge containers, and more. Check them out below, and let me know what you want to Find this week.
It’s Asian Foods Week at ALDI, so get ready to stock up on some favorite new and recurring Finds! Let’s start with these Journey to Thailand noodles, available in three varieties for $2.79 per 8 oz bag.
Season’s Choice frozen edamame (shelled or pods) is back in this week’s ad — but at $2.49 this time, up $.50 from its previous price point. I do love their shelled edamame, though, and use it in recipes like:
- Garlic soy pork with edamame rice
- Edamame & mushroom fried rice
- Ramen noodle stir fry with ground beef, edamame, and carrots
But really, shelled edamame is deliciously filling to throw into so many stir fries or fried rice recipes, or into your own homemade poke bowls.
Carlini toasted sesame oil is also back in this week’s ad — BUT, this time at $8.99 per 16.9 oz bottle, as opposed to its previous $5.99 price point. $3 is a pretty big jump, so are you buying some this time around? Oh, and: You can see last year’s ALDI sesame oil review here.
Also in the pantry section, look for various Burman’s Indian sauces at $3.39 per 15 oz jar, plus:
- Fresh Gourmet wonton strips, $2.29
- Fusia curry rice noodle soup bowl, $1.99
- Fusia Asian Inspirations assorted sauces, $2.69
- Maruchan Yakisoba (beef or chicken), $.85
- Annie Chun’s noodle bowl, $2.58
- 4th & Heart Himalayan salt or garlic ghee 9 oz, $9.99
I haven’t tried these particular sauces, but their regular tikka masala sauce is all right (I spice it up a bit more…!).
Then let’s move quickly back over to frozen foods, where you’ll find 24 oz bags of Fusia mini wontons (pork or chicken) for $6.29.
As well as these little 6 oz boxes of Fusia steamed dumplings for $2.99. Other thematic frozen Finds this week include:
- Fusia frozen sushi, $5.89
- Fusia shrimp or veggie spring rolls, $4.99
- Fusia Szechuan or sweet & sour stir fry, $2.99
The frozen sushi gets mixed reviews, but I haven’t tried it myself.
Note that both advertised and unadvertised ALDI prices can vary by store and by region. Now, let’s run down the rest of the top ALDI Finds for the week of 8/10/22. (You may also Find some on 8/7/22 in Sunday ad markets, or if your store tends to put products out early.)
Top ALDI Finds of the week
Beyond the aforementioned Asian Week products, here are 15 more top food Finds, as well as thirty more non-Food Finds, all for the week of 8/10/22.
Fifteen new ALDI food Finds for your week
So, let’s see what other culinary delights ALDI has in store for us this week. Food Finds include:
- Bake Shop mini cinnamon rolls, $3.89
- Barissimo salted caramel or toasted coconut ground coffee 12 oz, $4.19
- PurAqua sparkling coffee flavored water (four 11.2 oz cans), $2.99
- Chobani Flip cookies and cream Greek yogurt, $1.18
- Siggi’s Icelandic skyr yogurt, vanilla or mixed berry, $1.40
- Specially Selected indulgent honey peach or cherry Greek yogurt 32 oz, $4.09
- Mama Cozzi’s meatball or sausage deli calzone, $2.49
- Bremer chicken penne primavera or basil Parmesan chicken 24 oz, $4.99

- Season’s Choice mini hash browns 20 oz, $2.49
- Family pack thick-cut boneless pork chops, $3.49/lb
- Fresh Waygu beef patties 1 lb, $6.29
- Popfully 45 oz yellow popcorn kernels, $3.99
- Berryhill summer spreads (watermelon or strawberry rhubarb), $2.99
- Hostess baby bundt cakes, $3.12
The cinnamon rolls look quite tasty, but at $3.89 I couldn’t bring myself to try them. If you do, please let me know if they’re as good as they look…
Jalapeño popper pizza is back, and got good reviews last time. I didn’t appreciate that it had green peppers in addition to the jalapeños, but that probably depends on your own tastes and preferences.
Indulgent Greek yogurt has also made its reappearance, if you’re a fan. (These are very sugary and dessert-y, for the curious.)
These fruit spreads are new, if you’re into summery flavors! You get 11.2 oz for $2.99.
I’m not sure why these name brand popcorn kernels have replaced ALDI’s own cheaper brand that shows up sometimes, but if you’re looking for a store brand equivalent it’s currently $.50 less at Target

Yes, some of these items are actually reappearing from earlier in the summer, and some have been on clearance. (My store had done a pretty good job of selling out clearance items when I was in yesterday, hopefully making room for new Finds and reducing some of the clutter in there!)
If you have been looking for a pressure cooker / air fryer combo, this is a decent price…
Collapsible meal kits are useful and easy to carry around, right?
We actually had a lucky bamboo plant from ALDI for quite a while (years…), before it finally succumbed to neglect. If you’re looking for plants that are easy to grow and maintain, these are a good bet.
The little succulents are always nice to use in creating potted arrangements, or to add another touch of low-maintenance greenery to your home.
