Caturday with the Notorious BKL and Friends: Attack of the Bad Kitties edition

Welcome back to Caturday with The Notorious BKL and Friends: Attack of the Bad Kitties edition. So, I don’t know what’s going on this week — is it a full moon, maybe? But the cats have been especially squirrelly lately, if you can actually say that about cats, who would probably be offended by the comparison.

Those of you with young Nerf aficionados in your home may sympathize with this one: Where you buy a whole big thing of replacement darts and they all disappear within a couple of weeks, like socks in a dryer? I think I’ve cracked the case, since this week I keep catching Miss Bad Kitty Gnocchi batting them across the floor, under the fridge, under the couch…

And then there’s poor old Jeremy. All he really wants out of life is to prove that he can fit in a little box. (Shh — no one tell him he doesn’t!) And, well…

… then along comes Little Miss Fun-Ruiner, who not only kicked him out of the box, but then claimed it for her very own. (Shh — no one tell him that she fits in there a lot better!)

It’s all good, though: He got over it. You can tell it’s just so hard for him to relax…

So, how’s your Caturweek (or cat-free week) going?

But the highlight of the week here for the non-feline contingent was a trip to Taco Madre in North Aurora with High School Guy. Highly recommended, if you’re in the area! (And yes, they do have many more choices than his preferred “burrito as big as your head.” 😉 )

And that’s about it for this week’s Caturday. Since that’s us for now, I’ll leave you with the usual question: How’s your own Caturweek (or cat-free week) going? Be sure to tune in next time for the next episode in the exciting adventures of the Notorious BKL and Friends!
