Caturday with the Notorious BKL and Friends: They’re Busted Edition

Welcome back to Caturday with the Notorious BKL and Friends: They’re Busted Edition. So, you know how The Notorious BKL and Jeremy generally pretend they don’t even like each other?

Well: They are so busted. (This was on a day where it was 95 degrees out, no less!) Just a short Caturday this week, since it’s still 95 degrees out and somehow feels too hot and bright to even type, lol. But I wanted to share their shame, nonetheless. And yes, I am wearing shorts again! It’s a trend. 😉

And do you know what’s even funnier? As soon as the dynamic duo here noticed me, they sprung apart like guilty teenagers — so right after this photo was taken, Jeremy fell right off his precarious perch on the back of the chair and landed in an ungraceful heap on the floor before stalking away. So much for cats being graceful and always landing on their feet!

They’ve been maintaining a respectful distance from each other ever since, too, like nothing ever happened.

Their departure then opened the door for Bad Kitty Gnocchi to claim the warm spot for her very own. You know. Because you need a little extra warmth on a Chicago summer day.

And you know. When she’s not carrying out her ongoing mission to cover every inch of the couch with cat hair and all.

Or you know. When she’s not busy living the good life on the window sill… It’s a pity this one can’t seem to relax, isn’t it?

So, how’s your Caturweek (or cat-free week) going?

That’s it for this week’s Caturday! So since that’s us for now: How’s your own Caturweek (or cat-free week) going? How are you keeping cool, if you’re in similar crazy heat this week? And… Be sure to tune in next time for the next episode in the exciting adventures of the Notorious BKL and Friends.
