Today: One tag-still-on “clouded leopard” Webkinz (but he’s still going through the wash!), two books, one Banana Republic tank, $8.52. What have you found lately?
Well, it wasn't at goodwill but I got the neatest set of 4 wire, look kind of like rod iron chairs at Savers. They are heavy & have upholstered seats & rattan backs. They were $99.99 for set of 4 - I asked about getting a lower price & the lady (who I found out was a manager) told me that I could get a 30% off coupon if I donated 6 bags of stuff. As it turned out she had 6 bags of stuff in her car to donate & as an employee she couldn't use the coupon, so she went & donated the stuff & gave me the 30% off coupon &I got the set for $69.99.
I have since reupholstered them in a burlap fabric that I got a few years back at a church rummage sale & they look good. Unfortunately, we are moving so DH wasn't as thrilled as I was about the purchase! I kinda had to promise to stay out of Goodwill/Savers stores till after the move!

I recently found 2 adorable, summer dresses: One from Gap- blue and white stripe, another blue cotton tank. My kids thought I got them from Stitch Fix. I also found brand new infinity scarves at the Goodwill in Algonquin, IL. I bought several for gifts and my girls. $3.98! Both of my dresses totaled $6.99!

I actually went to return 2 pairs of pants to Goodwill today! Picked up a pair of jeans, & a shirt that still had the original tag on it. Used a store credit, paid $4.35.

I am not big on shopping in thrift stores but I use Facebook pages and recently added estate sale shopping I got a steal of a deal this past weekend .... 1 year old Weber grill for $125 & brand new premium charcoal grill for $70 both grills values at $1300 combined for $195 not a bad deal. The Facebook pages have a lot of impulsive buys for me but I have gotten so much better and buy a lot less.
