It’s some KIND of Giveaway (yes it is…) + Kind Bars Review

This giveaway is sponsored by KIND. I received products for the purpose of review; however, all opinions here are my own.

Have you guys seen all these newer and different flavors of bars from KIND? They now have over 22 varieties: So fun, and some combinations you don’t generally see in snack bars, so you can break up your routine! They sent over a sample pack with some more unusual flavor combinations, including Thai Sweet Chili, Honey Mustard, Caramel Almond & Sea Salt, Dark Chocolate Mocha Almond, and Hickory Smoked.

All the boys in this house were eager to help out with the product testing, no surprise there! KIND bars are gluten free and non GMO, so Junior High guy was able to partake in Thai Sweet Chili — one of the new all natural STRONG & Kind flavors that packs 10g of protein, with no whey or soy. Thumbs up from him on the flavor, which he pronounced “kind of spicy, but not too bad.” He also ate it in about 30 seconds, so I think “not too bad” is middle school speak for “more of that, please!” This flavor also contains no dairy ingredients, but some KIND bars do, so check nutrition information if you need to avoid dairy like Junior High Guy does.

Mr. 7 here is enjoying Dark Chocolate Mocha Almond, mostly because he hears “mocha” and thinks he’s being a grown-up and getting coffee. 😉 I thought those were pretty good too, but my favorite was the same as MashupDad’s…

… Caramel Almond & Sea Salt. Seriously, are all men such a goof when you say you’re going to take their picture? ANYway, he was pleased with this particular flavor because it has 8 net grams of carbs — and all the bars I received are low glycemic.

But seriously: Yum. Look at all those whole almonds! and caramel! These are crunchy, sweet, and salty for the perfect flavor combo, and I highly recommend them. They also pack a good amount of protein to help fill you up longer.

But beyond Almond Sea Salt & Caramel, I really do recommend KIND bars in general. They’re filling, they’re tasty, they’re all natural, and, well… I KIND of like the name. I usually don’t eat a lot of store-bought bars because I don’t care for the artificial flavors or aftertaste, and you just don’t get that with KIND: You get almonds, you get chocolate, you get caramel, you get pumpkin seeds and honey.
